An exercise from my Performance and Live Art course run by Jill Orr at RMIT. This performance had to be an original work, have the theme of “connection” and had to be of duration ten minutes or less. I chose to involve the whole class in collaboration.

“Thank you for coming today to participate in this piece of live art. It is titled Connected. I am going to invite each of you to take a piece of jigsaw puzzle from the basket. When all the pieces have been taken, I will ask you to come together to the low table to collaborate in the assembly of the jigsaw.”
