Carol Kirkwood Gardner is embarking on a new phase of artistic creativity having graduated in December 2017 with a BA (Fine Art) in Sculpture, Sound & Spatial Practice from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) University, Melbourne.

Gardner’s life has been peripatetic (she has resided in 36 abodes) and this has created in her a profound curiosity for, and interest in, most things, but in particular the stories associated with things, their narrative, their history, and those characteristics that are common to all locations and things, namely colour, texture, and materiality.
